Alo Coffee - Field Blend

At Coco & Nibs, we are constantly looking for farms that consistently test the limits of coffee, Alo is a perfect example of our mission. Alo Coffee consistently produces award-winning lots that have been, and still are highly sought after. This coffee evokes the taste of honeydew, marigold florality, with a fresh apricot sweetness, followed by a fragrant note of earl grey tea and a crisp yuzu acidity. This past April, I had the opportunity to visit SCA Expo 2025. I bumped into the founder of Alo Coffee, Tamiru, at a coffee shop nearby. Ever since then, my engagement with Alo coffee has been significantly higher. Here we are, five months later, releasing a beautiful coffee from this amazing community. Alo has brought a new level of coffee & exclusivity to Ethiopia, pushing the limits of coffee in Africa. Located in Sidama, Ethiopia, Alo focuses on higher elevation coffees. With this lot being at 2300 MASL.
